Part-Time Receptionist/Switchboard Operator

Essential duties and responsibilities: This position is responsible for all retail new account transactions, assisting customers in selection of various accounts and financial services, cross-selling of bank products and services, opening, maintaining and closing of all account types. This includes: Home Equity Lines of Credit, 2nd Mortgages, Consumer Loans and Deposit Accounts. The incumbent is active in community, marketing and promotion of Bank products and services. In a team environment, the incumbent will meet or exceed all branch sales/quality/service goals and conduct internal and outside sales efforts to generate new business and consumer customers all while maintaining/expanding existing banking relationships and in doing so “adding value to the customer relationship” and not selling for the sake of sales. The incumbent will initiate special projects/initiatives, and be involved in the design and implementation of new products and services.
Qualifications: The ideal candidate will hold a High School Diploma with at least three years banking experience, particularly in both new accounts such as checking/savings, CD’s, IRA’s HSA’s, money markets, and consumer loans of varying types and complexity. The position also requires an understanding of federal/state laws regarding bank operations, plus lending experience gained through an education including courses in lending, finance, and bank-specific seminars/courses. This position requires registration with the national Mortgage Licensing System and Registry (NMLS). Candidates must possess technical ability to operate banking software and other general office equipment, able to work with minimal direction, demonstrate proactive problem-solving, ability, deal with time pressures and changing priorities, and possess organizational, verbal/written communication skills along with prior sales experience particularly in a financial services industry setting. They must have a professional demeanor and appearance. Knowledge of the local financial services marketplace (competitors, demographics, geography, industries, etc.) is also preferred.

Department Head - Senior VP of Business Banking
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: As the Sr. VP Business Banking, you will take on a senior level role reporting to the CEO and President directly. Your specific remit will be to oversee the commercial business lines and all initiatives relating to the successful delivery of services and the achievement of the business strategy.
Acting as one of the senior leaders within the business, you will manage the deposit and lending services, new product research and development, customer service and annual cost/benefit analysis of existing products.
You will oversee staffing and HR elements such as employee rewards, education and training and performance management and will play an active role at Board level, preparing reports for Board Committees.

Qualifications: A proven history of leadership, management, account management, new loan and deposit generation, new product design, development and implementation. At least seven years’ progressively responsible banking management experience with specific emphasis on commercial and retail banking administration and regulatory compliance. At least seven years’ supervisory experience within the banking field, ideally leading a team of ten+ personnel, and including the ability to plan, coordinate and organize service delivery and establish objectives while mentoring and developing staff. At a minimum, a Bachelor’s degree in a business or related field
Articulate and driven, as the Sr. VP Business Banking, you will need to be an influential leader with strong persuasion, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
Licenses or designations such as American Management Association designations, MBA, CPA, SHRM-SCP or CLBB, would be beneficial to your application.
